Last night I took myself on date.

I dressed myself up, put on my lipstick, had a romantic dinner, got myself tipsy, and took myself back to my hotel room for a Jacuzzi.

I travel a lot on my own for work and this was the first time I felt comfortable going to a restaurant by myself for dinner.

 I didn't care that people were looking at me with sympathy like I had been stood up for a blind date, and I also happily ignored the group of 12 business men who kept sending beer to my table even though the restaurant was an 'all you can eat and drink' teppanyaki bar....nice gesture....jerks. 

I had an amazing time.

I even sneakily brought myself a gift (or a few)....

Imagination I have people. If nothing else.

Can I afford a Prada bag? Frig no. But there are certain things in life that you just figure out. I also happen to have some very great sneaky places in which you find such treasures at more than affordable prices.
